About KidSport:

More and more kids are becoming team players every day. They’re given the opportunity to swing a bat, shoot a puck, or smash a ball for happier, healthier lives thanks to KidSport™ and its local sponsors and volunteers. KidSport™ welcomes all new applications and donations so you can be a part of our team.

We believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.

Potential lives within every young person. And yet, there are hundreds of kids here in Calgary who are waiting for someone who will stand in their corner. YOU can ignite the potential of a young person simply by showing up for as little as one hour a week and being a caring, consistent presence in their lives.

From doing homework together, to getting advice about relationships, to seeing a hockey game, the simplest acts can have the biggest impact!
